Shepard Island or John Shepard Island is an island about 11 miles (17.7 km) long, lying 6 miles (9.7 km) west of Grant Island off the coast of Marie Byrd Land, Antarctica. Shepard Island is located at (74°25′S132°30′W). Shepard Island is ice capped except at its northern, seaward side, and is almost wholly embedded in the Getz Ice Shelf.
