Ypsilanti (/ˌɪpsᵻˈlænti/, often mispronounced /ˌjɪpsᵻˈlænti/), commonly shortened to Ypsi, is a city in Washtenaw County in the U.S. state of Michigan, perhaps best known as the home of Eastern Michigan University.
