Bear Creek (Lehigh River)
Bear Creek is a 17.1-mile-long (27.5 km) tributary of the Lehigh River in the Poconos of eastern Pennsylvania in the United States, joining the Lehigh at Francis E.
Weatherly a borough in Carbon County, Pennsylvania, United States, located 12 miles (19 km) northwest of Jim Thorpe and 41 miles (66 km) northwest of Allentown. Early in the twentieth century, there were silk mills, foundries, a candy factory, a fabricating plant, and a cigar factory. In 1900 2,471 people lived there, and in 1910, the population was 2,501.
