Brooks Island is a 75-acre (30 ha), mostly flat strip of land extending from a round hill which peaks at 160 ft (49 m) in San Francisco Bay, located just south of the Richmond Inner Harbor in Richmond, California.
Piedmont is a small, mostly-residential, semi-suburban city located in Alameda County, California, United States. The City of Piedmont is surrounded by the city of Oakland. Piedmont's residential population was 10,667 at the 2010 census. The name comes after the region of Piedmont in Italy, and literally means foothill.
