Penshaw Monument
Penshaw Monument (/ˈpɛnʃə/), officially The Earl of Durham's Monument, is a folly built in 1844 on Penshaw Hill between the districts of Washington and Houghton-le-Spring, within the City of Sunderland, North East England.
