Alvediston is a village and civil parish in Wiltshire, England, with a population of 91 (2001 census). It is about eight miles east of Shaftesbury. It is the source of the River Ebble.

The parish includes the hamlets of Crendell and Cripplestyle. The main road running through the village is the B3078 connecting Alderholt to Fordingbridge and Shaftesbury.
