Seogwipo (Korean pronunciation: [sʰʌɡɥipʰo]) is a city in Jeju Province, South Korea with population of 155,691 as of December 31, 2011. In July, 2006, Seogwipo city was expanded to include the entire southern half of Jeju island. In 2002, it was one of the host cities for the FIFA World Cup. Total budget in 2012 is reported to be KRW 524.6 billion. As one of the World Heritages by UNESCO, it has huge potential to be developed in the third industries including travel.
