Harcourt Butler Technological Institute, Kanpur, popularly known as HBTI, Kanpur or HBTI, is an academically autonomous engineering college affiliated to the Uttar Pradesh Technical University (formerly Gautam Buddha Technical University) in the city of Kanpur in the state of Uttar Pradesh in India. Its programs have been conferred autonomous status under the university. It is one of the oldest engineering institutes in the country and holds the ISO 9001:2000 certification.
