Babadag (Romanian pronunciation: [babaˈdaɡ]; historical Turkish name: Babadağ) is a town in Tulcea county, Romania, located on a small lake formed by the Taiţa river, in the densely wooded highlands of northern Dobruja. Its name means "the mountain of the father" in Turkish.
