Qufu (Chinese: 曲阜; pinyin: Qūfù; Wade–Giles: Ch'ü¹-fu⁴) is a city in the south-west of Shandong province, People's Republic of China. It is located at 35° 36′ northern latitude and 117° 02′ east, about 130 kilometres (81 mi) south of the provincial capital Jinan and 45 kilometres (28 mi) northeast of the prefecture seat at Jining.
